Anxiety

Books that have helped me with anxiety. Highly recommend!!

- Bible. CSB (Read a chapter a day)

- Calm Your Anxious Mind. Daily Devotional BY: Carrie Marrs. (Read two pages a day)

- Anxious For Nothing. BY: Max Lucado (Must read!)

- Becoming Happy & Healthy. BY Jeanine Amapola (Excellent book! Challenge me to read the bible starting with the book of John a chapter a day!)

- The Pathway To Success. BY Joyce Meyer (This book helped me slow down and add fewer daily tasks!! There is urgent, high, medium, and low. This way, you will be able to clearly see them.

  • Pray!

Pray every second if you have to!! Try to remember a verse that you can hold on to! Remember, God doesn't break His promises! Keep telling yourself that!

One of the verses I hold on to dearly!

I am the Lord, who heals you! Exodus 15:26 <3

  • Breathe

Inhale to the count of 4

Hold your breath for 7 seconds

Exhale to the count of 8

Please do this as soon as you feel like you are about to have a panic attack. It helps!

  • Activities Outside

Please go outside, lay down a throw blanket, and bake in the sun. Listen to the birds. Feed the birds! Walk. Cook something and eat it outside! Just try to focus on nature.

  • Therapist

Talking with someone Godly and them hearing you out. Wow! It's something that will help you so much! Sometimes, we are so hard on ourselves and expect so much from us. But seeing from another point of view, it's so much better my therapist has walked me through a lot of the challenges I go through daily.

    Definitely recommended it!

    BETTERHELP is what I use.

    BETTERHELP
  • Journal

Go to your nearest Marshalls, TJMaxx, or Ross. Get a journal you like! Begin to write down how you feel! Jesus is right there. Tell him what happen and what you need help with.

  • Road Trip

You might not even want to get out or do anything but take a road trip to the beach for that night! Have a friend drive you there. Panic attack? Put on some music and sing your lungs out!!

Yes, something will tell you to go back, but let that fear go!

  • YOU

Focus on your healing! Please, sometimes we take the role of having to take care of such and such! When in reality, you don't have to take care of them. Put them in God's hands, and God will take care of them.

Take a week of just waking up, no cleaning right away; just get your bible, devotional, and journal, sit there with Jesus, and just dive in.

Then, remember one task at a time.

Label them, Urgent, High, Medium and Low.

  • Serve At Church

Get involved in serving at church and meet new people. It migth feel like you're not qualified to be there because of the thoughts, anxiety, etc, but you got this!!

Hang out with a Godly friend every week. Try new coffee shops, have a picnic at the park, paint tote bags, and go to a pottery place. Talk about God. Read a book together and discuss it when y'all meet up.

  • Stretches

Take 5 to 10 minutes just stretching and being in the moment.
